BRS Science Books: Tough but Resourceful

The material is tough, and the questions and tests are tough too. But it's all worthwhile, extremely beneficial if you're trying to get to med school by acing the physical sciences section (as well as the respective BS and VR sections). My word of advice (and what Berkeley Review does for each specific chapter): learn not only the concepts, but the equations as well. The earlier you learn the equations, the better you'll feel come test day. Because, seriously, who wants to fumble on Bernoulli's Equation of P1 + [p(v1)^2]/2 + py1g = P2 + [p(v2)^2]/2 + py2g at the last minute? Even if you're not an engineering major or didn't have an extensive background in physics, I'd recommend this book for you. And I hope that the Berkeley Review people are smart enough and already prepping for the next edition of the MCAT in mid-2015!
