Super basic overview

A very brief yet good summary of spiral dynamics for those (like me) who were at a very novice level of understanding. I liked that the book described each stage with short examples.
I didn't like that the book on multiple occasions refers to other books in the series that don't even exist yet (from my understanding). It just seemed like this book was attempting to be a teaser for other purchases (and those products are unavailable).

This read like someone's class notes

This read like someone's class notes. I was surprised that it had been published as an actual work. Toward the end, the information was offered in incomplete sentences, much like study notation. This was not a well thought out or well written work by any means. I was extremely disappointed.

interesting but a setup

It gives a good overview of Spiral Dynamics. But in the end it is a setup for buying the next book. I found that disingenuous.
